Can't school be over already?!
It has been only a month or so, and I am already so overwhelmed, not only by work, but also by "senioritis"...this is bad, because though I am technically a senior, I won't graduate until May 2005. I just want to get out into the world, and to feel as if I am accomplishing something...as if I am helping someone in the world, rather than sitting in a classroom...D.C. was an amazing experience, but it had one downfall in particular: it made me want to work. I loved my internship, I loved the experience of working everyday, and I loved the feeling that I was making a difference, even if only a small one...
So now I take a break from the rigors of academia to blog...this weekend has such a tightly packed schedule! Tomorrow I am not going to chapel or to my only class...I am choosing to write papers instead. I am going to a CD release party for a man at my church, whose entire family is SO musically talented (most are on the worship team with me). Saturday will be an early day, with MEL GIBSON, as well as other producers and actors from the film, coming to my school to show us a preview of "The Passion of the Christ"...I cannot wait! But, after this film, am I really going to want to return to my homework? Or am I going to want to spend time with God, reflecting on the amazing love that He has for me? We'll see...Sunday is youth group stuff, church, then more homework...yeah. I really want to be done with school! But, at least what I am learning is mostly interesting...
Check out Mike's website, and the pictures from ASP. It makes me want to be back with those amazing people...soon, very soon. :)
More poetry to come from Cameron...life is busy for us all! :)
Oh, it was 70 degrees here today, sunny...beautiful. Thanks, Lord, for a beautiful day!
