Hmmm...

It's been a quiet two days since I've been back at APU...I've really enjoyed just having time to think, time to relax, time to get settled in before the craziness begins. It's been raining SO much--they say that Los Angeles has had more rain in the past 14 days than it has in an entire year. Amazing.

There's been so much to think about lately...my upcoming trip to the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania...recent conversations that brought peace to my heart...the semester ahead of me, which will be insanely busy...all the blessings that I have received...

I found out today that my senior thesis will be due on April 28th--which was my "favorite" day of the year (and the date on which I wanted to get married) until I found out that it is also Saddam Hussein's birthday. That was the end of that!

I also found out today that I will not be graduating with honors. Once again, just like high school, I am so close to graduating with honors! But, not close enough. I must remember that I know that I have done well, and that it is only one grade (from a junior college class taken during high school) that is preventing me from this. Sigh...it doesn't really matter anyway, does it?

Like many people, I have some goals for this semester, and I pray that I have the strength and endurance to reach these goals. Besides the typical goals that I share with people--lose the weight I gained last semester from stress, excercise more, etc.--I also have spiritual and relational goals. I'll elaborate upon those as the semester progresses...120 days...that's all I have left until I enter "the real world..."

May your weekend be refreshing, and may you find time to relax and reflect upon all the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon you!
