Update on Life...
Well, life is good. Life is busy as always, but good. :)
Job search: Sent one resume today to a lobbying firm in Harrisburg, PA. Good prospects there. Emailed contacts in D.C. at Newt's office, maintaining the contact which could prove to be invaluable someday. A bit discouraged upon reading some job descriptions for secretarial positions that want 18 months of grad school, but I know that God has the perfect job for me already planned, and I just have to keep following Him.
Church job: Busy as ever. VBS is next week--still need 2 teachers! Youth group tonight--praying that I'll have some kids. Next week we're going to a minor league baseball game as our event, so that will be fun. I feel like I'm working ALL the time!
Friends: I'm discovering more and more just how much my "Monday night" friends mean to me...they are so wonderful! They are always challenging me, encouraging me, supporting me...and I love them all. My "roommate" last week is especially wonderful--she always makes life enjoyable and I miss having her around all the time.
APU friends--2 weddings down, 2 to go. Other friends--3 more weddings to go. Everyone seems to be transititioning well from college life to the "real world". I love all my friends! The Lord has SO richly blessed me!
Family: I mentioned them in the last post--things are going well. My grandparents are heading down here next week with two of my NorCal youth to work in VBS. They are so awesome!
To my NorCal Youth: I am SO sorry that I can't come to the rally this weekend! I had fully intended to, but now that I am VBS director I have to decorate that day...I will see you all in August, Lord Willing, when you come to SoCal! :)
That's about it. Life is crazy busy, but worth every moment!
