Life in General...

Do you ever have days when you are bombarded by memories from your past? Memories that you perhaps hoped to forget? This has been one of those days. Even the little things made me remember times long past...times that, while I am glad to have behind me, I would give almost anything to have back again...ah yes, just one of those days. :)

In other news, the interview went well. The lady who interviewed me was very honest and told me that I am overqualified for the job, and that it would be "cheating" me if they hired me. She referred me to a friend of hers who is looking for an assistant, and she said that he would pay a lot more than this job is offering, and would have better benefits...she called him when I was in there, and I am supposed to call him tomorrow morning to set up an interview...so, we'll just see. I've applied to a few more jobs in the area, so we'll see what the Lord brings!

The only other exciting thing right now is that I got the paint for my room today. This is the first room that I've been able to paint since I was in junior high or high school, when I decided to be "adventurous" and paint my room white with a slight tint of blue, lol. My room is going to be a sage green-ish color, called "Caraway"--and SO pretty. The trim/ceiling will be a slightly off white color, called "linen white."
