Amusing...

Favorite quote from Bible study last night: "I would LOVE to see you on pot--it would be great!"--Danny to me. (Wow, yeah, NO).

Another observation: I was looking through the satellite guide last night, trying to find a show to watch and I noticed that Seinfeld was coming on. So I turned it on, and it wasn't Seinfeld--it was a "breaking news" segment on (get ready) a high speed chase through East L.A.

It never ceases to amaze me how Southern Californians feel the need to know about these things--and that the news stations show the car for more than 30 minutes (as was the case last night--I kept flipping back to the station, hoping that Seinfeld would be on). High speed chases are on the news nearly EVERY night, no exaggeration. Why do we have to watch the car drive down the freeway?!

Just an observation...and another thing that drives me nuts about living in "the SouthLand." But, this is where the Lord has called me for now, so I must be content. :)
