Update on Mike...

The last update I received about my boss was that he had been stabilized and was conscious.

What happened is this: A week ago, he sprained his ankle and got a small scrape on his foot/ankle. Within two days, the cut was infected and the infection spread all the way to his knee. The circulation in his leg was affected, and his leg turned black. I won't go into any more of those details :)

Anyway, this is the third time since I've known him (6 months) that he has had a small cut that has turned into a major infection. He went to the ER last week, and they ran blood tests, because something is obviously wrong.

Today, he came to work, was there for two hours and then had to go lay down in the doctor's office on-site. Next thing we know, he is being taken to the hospital in an ambulance because he is having convulsions. He ended up being unconscious and having seizures.

This is very scary. He is an absolutely incredible man/boss! He is 28, married, has a 2 year old son, and is just an all-around wonderful man. Please pray that the doctors will have success in solving this mystery!! I am very concerned...but I know that God is sovereign...
