Update on Mike...

I just talked to my boss. Good news! He is feeling GREAT, and is coming back on Monday, unless anything else happens this weekend. It was so great to finally get the full story, instead of just bits and pieces.

He said that last Tuesday, he went home and his ankle was totally swollen and blue. They discovered a blood clot that was the biggest clot in that part of the body that they had seen at that hospital. He said that the doctor could not believe how lucky he was that it didn't dislodge and move, because he "would have been a gonner..." Prayer works!!! :)

Anyway, he said that the pain from his ankle was far worse than the leg pain, and he was heavily sedated for all of last week in the hospital. He is so excited to come back to work--on crutches this time (good boy!)--and I know that we are all excited to see him as well!
