Moving Day...
Today is moving day...well, it started yesterday, thanks to my work (for the day off, paid) and thanks to two of my dear friends, who spent their entire day with me yesterday, packing, carrying out furniture, etc...unfortunately, this moving experience is in two parts: right now, I'm just moving my stuff out into the back of the garage...when we find a house, I am moving my stuff there (in about 6 weeks).
I still can't believe I'm moving. In college, it was commonplace. I moved every 4 months after my semester in D.C. (2003), and though I hated it, it wasn't unusual. Now, I've been in one place for a year and a half, and it still hasn't hit me that I'm moving...this house has brought a year and a half of stability in the midst of my crazy life and tons of changes...it has been a place of learning and growing...and now it's time to move on. It's a bit scary, knowing that from this day on, my life is in God's hands completely, as I don't know where I'll be living after the next 6 weeks. But, I trust Him COMPLETELY, and I am not worried. He has been so faithful to provide a place for me, always, and I know that He will do it again.
We're looking at a house today, one that will fit our needs, according to the ad...we're just praying that if the Lord has this house for us, that He will make it clear. :)
Life has been incredibly busy, but overwhelmingly blessed. :) I can't complain!
