Sunday

Well, I had a great time with my brother yesterday...we got along...which was honestly surprising--and wonderful! :) The races were awesome...

Took him to the airport at 5:45am, came back and slept for an hour and then went to church. It was wonderful as usual. I am excited about going back to Bible Study tomorrow night. We call it our "Red Neck" Bible Study--NOT BECAUSE WE ARE RED NECKS!!! (Must clarify that!) The people who come to this study are all musically inclined, as it happens, so we often play songs akin to Nickel Creek (i.e., bluegrass). We have two guitars, a mandolin, a piano, and Chris can play the banjo I believe. Tomorrow I get to learn to play the mandolin, which is next on my list of instruments to learn! Over Spring break I might try to spend more time with my grandmother working on Mandolin and Mountain Dulcimer. Anyway...it is a fun group! So--we call it a "Red Neck" study because of that and because we all like racing...so I fit right in! :) I AM NOT A RED NECK MICHAEL!! :)

I have 5 out of 12 pages done on my Current Events term paper, so that is encouraging. I wrote those 5 pages in 2 hours, so this is good! Now I just have to finish it, make a powerpoint presentation about my paper, study for my theology exam and write a paper on the 1952 elections...sigh...but I feel motivated, I feel encouraged...so this is good!

Alright, back to work...I am enjoying my instrumental CD that isn't really "bluegrass" persay, but it has a violin, guitar, hammered dulcimer, banjo at times, mandolin, etc. It is wonderful music! :)
