Interesting Day...

Well, today has NOT been a good day (though not completely horrible). It has nothing to do with the fact that I'm single--because, honestly, I could care less right now. :) Too many other things going on to be sad that I'm not in a relationship! I know that God's timing is perfect, so I am completely content to be single.

I don't want to go into details, but from the minute that I got to work, things started happening that were not good. And, several people I work with said the same thing. It's just been an interesting day...

But, I have had fun remembering past Valentine's Days--specifically two years ago when I flew to Chicago to surprise a dear friend of mine who needed some cheering up. He had absolutely no idea, and I had the BEST time planning all the intricate details of the weekend--including the "revealing" of my being there, a day in Chicago, seeing the CSO (Chicago Symphony Orchestra), a day at his parent's house...and so much more. It was a great Valentine's Day with a great friend, and it is by far the best Valentine's Day I've had (so far).

No plans tonight. I might hang out with some of my friends, but nothing set in stone yet. It's sad not having all of my girls here anymore (graduation) because we always had a blast together on this day!

On a good note, I am really catching on to things at work. I feel fairly confident about working through all that we have to do--which is SO encouraging to me. There is so much to learn still, but I feel like I have grasped all that we have been taught in the past week or so. Life is good, today was just a bad day. :)
