Weekend Recap...

I really had a great weekend! Saturday started later than usual--9am. I just didn't want to get out of bed (though I woke up at my usual wake-up time of 5:30am)! Saturday evening I attended my first "Bunco Party" with the young adults group from my church. It was actually really fun! I had never even heard of Bunco prior to this event, but it was fun and I'd do it again.

Today I had church, which was good, and I spent time with several different friends today. It is so good sometimes to just discuss life with people, hearing what they are going through, getting wise advice, etc.

I actually didn't watch the NASCAR race today because I was spending time with friends. My driver didn't have a good day, though, and was caught in a wreck, which left him way down in 27th place. Sigh...it's still early in the season, and he's still 10th in points--so he can still win the championship!

I've been thinking a lot about dating lately...and through a book that was given to me on my birthday (by Matt), I'm beginning to change my perspective on a few things. I am excited to see what the future brings!

This week will be great--I'm hoping to make some real progress at work this week. My friend and Tunisia teammate, Matt, is coming down for a few days, and I am SO looking forward to that! He is such a great friend, and I can't wait to hang out.
