Sick...

I really dislike being sick...not that anyone really enjoys it, I suppose...I'm in that stage where you know that you are going to get sick, but you aren't quite sick. I hate the dizzy feeling, the lightheadedness...yeah. I have my first exam in almost a YEAR tomorrow, and I would love to have a clear head. Oh well. Such is life!

I am still super tired from this weekend. I slept for 10 hours on Monday night, which did not help. But it is totally worth being tired!

I am fasting right now--for God really pressed it upon my heart to do so while I am interceding in prayer for a friend. I am not fully fasting--it would not be wise since I am sick--but I am fasting from sugar, junk food, etc...which is good for me anyway! But I will do this as long as it takes for some serious answers to prayer to come. So yeah...prayer is definitely good in many ways. And I know that God is faithful in answering our prayers!

It has been raining today, and the rain will continue off and on for the next week. This is good and bad. Good because Southern California needs water...bad because of the fires from last year--the water will cause mudslides, flooding, etc. We are on a flood watch right now. Sigh...you just can't win!

I am really looking forward to chapel tonight. Our campus pastor is absolutely amazing, and it has been a very long time since I have been to Wednesday night chapel. As far as I know we are still in the book of Mark (nearly 3 years now), and it is always so awesome, so enlightening. God has truly blessed APU in SO many ways!

Alright, back to studying for my theology test in the morning...Please pray for my friend, that God would use this time of brokenness to complete the healing process...that peace would abundantly flow into my friend's heart...and that God would truly work in my friend's life. Prayer works wonders, and it is SO needed right now! Thanks!
