Old friends...

It amazes me how even though I do not stay in touch with a few certain friends, when we get together it is as if no time has passed. Sure, we are different, we have grown up...but we always have something to talk about!

I met my good friend Melanie for coffee tonight, and four hours later we realized how long we had been there...amazing...great conversation...great encouragement...amazing memories...I was amazed at her growth, especially spiritually, and at how we are still such great friends, though it has been nearly a year since we last saw each other...

Good friends never really go away, I am learning...some friends you will have for life...and I am so thankful for those friends.
