Libraries, allergies and other such things

I made a trip to the Tehama County Public Library today to research some Civil War stuff...and I was amazed...and not in a good way. I have come to take for granted the amazing collection that my university's library contains...and I realized just how much I hate the Dewey Decimal System (APU uses Library of Congress). Yeah...I borrowed 7 books on the Civil War out of about 36 total that the library had. Amazing. Anyway, yeah. So, I haven't written any papers yet, but at least I did something!

Doctor's appointment went well. My scar is fine, he said that the discolorations (is that a word?) are okay, though they look strange. At least it isn't anything bad, like skin cancer. Got my allergy meds. I am a happy camper! :)

I am definitely looking forward to a visit from Michael this summer! My parents told me today that they will take us to the redwoods when he comes (Northern California coast, by Eureka), along with my brother. Yay! How fun will that be?! He will be astounded by these giant trees.

Anyway, heading out to dinner with the fam...fundraiser for my brother's class' Sober Grad Night in June.

Thanks for reading! Sorry that the posts haven't been exciting! This is Spring Break, after all...
