Country Quiz...or, Lesa has too much time on her hands!
You're Vatican City!
You're pretty sure that you're infallible in all that you do or say, and
it's hard to say whether you're right. You have a lot of followers, most of whom will
do whatever you say without question, or line up to see you ride around in your spiffy car.
Religious and reserved, you have some wisdom, but also a bit much contempt for everyone
around you. You're also fabulously wealthy, no matter what you say to the contrary.

Right...:) Anyway, it was humorous. Mike was Vietnam.
However, I also took the "Book Quiz" and was fabulously amused with these results!!
You're Anne of Green Gables!
by L.M. Montgomery
Bright, chipper, vivid, but with the emotional fortitude of cottage
cheese, you make quite an impression on everyone you meet. You're impulsive, rash,
honest, and probably don't have a great relationship with your parents. People hurt
your feelings constantly, but your brazen honestly doesn't exactly treat others with
kid gloves. Ultimately, though, you win the hearts and minds of everyone that matters.
You spell your name with an E and you want everyone to know about it.

at the Blue Pyramid.
How true is MOST of that?! LOL. Especially the "E" thing. To clarify: I do have a great relationship with my parents, my feelings are not easily hurt, and I believe that I have strong emotional fortitude. But, the rest is pretty true! I LOVE Anne of Green Gables!
On a more serious note...I experienced "The Passion of the Christ" once more tonight...and it had a far different impact than the first time...but I don't know how to put it into words quite yet, so I will leave it at that. I do hope that you all have a chance to see it! It is not easy to watch...but it will not leave you unchanged.
Today was an okay day...just one of those days where I felt a little out of place in this role...where I was questioning my adequacy...but those days come and go...
Got some rather annoying news today: Next Tuesday, the state of California will decide whether or not I, along with thousands of other students, will be able to continue our higher education. Yes, that sounds ridiculous...but it's true. On Tuesday, the voters of California will vote on several propositions, including two that will determine the future of the "CalGrant," which offers a significant amount of financial aid to California residents. Without this aid, I would not be able to afford the ever-rising tuition of this private university. If these propositions do not pass, the CalGrant will be cut in half, and I will not be able to finish my LAST YEAR at APU. So, please keep that in your prayers. I know that if God's will is for me to finish here, He will provide.
Busy weekend ahead--even busier two weeks to come! SIX DAYS UNTIL MIKE COMES!! :)
