The most perfect day!
Today has been remarkably wonderful...I was able to sleep in until 10, and then I spent 2 hours getting ready for the day...no, that is not an everyday thing! I normally need 30 minutes, tops. Anyway, it was so fun to just take my time...I even did my nails this morning--which is rare. :)
Scott's session for Common Day of Learning went really, really well. He is so knowledgeable about so many things, and he has a way of making things interesting to those who may not have been previously interested. It was fabulous, and the PowerPoint Presentation looked wonderful, if I do say so myself (I made it...).
It is 75 degrees right now, the warmest it has been in several weeks. The sun is shining with a few scattered clouds...the mountains have a fresh covering of snow, and they are clearly visible...it is so gorgeous today! It makes me want to go to the beach--as I haven't been since AUGUST! (I'm not bitter) Oh well--I will be there in 2 days!!
In fact, in almost exactly 48 hours, Michael Podguski will be arriving at Los Angeles International Airport. How exciting! :) The weather is going to be as close to perfect as it could be this time of year! I can't believe how amazing the forecast is--it will not be lower than 74 the entire week he is here! Praise the Lord! I was worried that the dreaded rain would return...but I suppose we have had enough lately.
Anyway, I feel great today--though there is still small signs that bronchitus may be not too far away...but it is a great day, and it will continue to be! :)
