Cell Phone Providers and Summer Plans

Well, something great came up today in regards to what I will do this summer--though I will still be in LA...my good friend Paige, over lunch, asked if I would like to live with her, off-campus, for the summer! How fun would that be?! I am praying about it, because it would be so awesome...I'd really feel like I was "on my own", and i wouldn't feel so "trapped" by being at APU for so long. I think it would be great! She is getting married at the end of July, and Leslie and I hope to go to their wedding in Colorado...ROAD TRIP!! :)

I have begun to consider switching cell phone providers...from AT&T to something else, probably Verizon. I have to break contract if I switch, which will be about $200, but I will save money in the long run. I am considering Verizon for a few reasons: One, there is better reception in the area (and in D.C. it works on the Metro...I have to be prepared for the future! LOL)...Two, I could get free in-network calling, which would be great because my parents (and Michael) have Verizon...that would ensure that I did not go over my minutes (which I do nearly every month)...and it would be a little cheaper for the same plan that I have now on Verizon...so in the long run, it would save me money......but more importantly, it would allow Michael and I to talk anytime without worrying about using up minutes :) Honestly, that is a huge incentive...

Thoughts about Verizon? I'd welcome any comments about Verizon...especially from people who currently use it. I will make the switch this summer, some time...possibly.

Anyway, worship team tonight...looking forward to that, because I haven't worshipped with these people for a couple of weeks now. Good times!

Must finish this Civil War paper tonight...it is not going too well, because it is so complicated! I am writing about how the Battle of Chickamauga Creek decreased the overall morale of the Union troops to such a great degree that by the time the Battle of Missionary Ridge came about, they wanted revenge, which in turn gave them the courage to capture the mountain unexpectedly. Yeah...I am on page 5, and I haven't even come to the capture of the mountain yet! Oh well...I have a few hours tonight to finish!

Have a good evening!
