How I Spent Saturday...

A month or so ago, I posted about how we found my Dad's biological family, and present that to him for Father's Day. However, I removed the post because I realized that some key people did not yet know the news, and I didn't want them to find out through my blog. Now that everyone knows, I can talk about it. :)

My parents and my brother came down this weekend so that my Dad could meet some of his siblings, and his biological father. It was an incredible day yesterday! I had already met all of the siblings who were present, as well as my biological grandfather, so I felt comfortable, which I think helped my Dad.

The "Nature vs. Nurture" debate is very interesting to all of us now, as we have seen just how much of a factor genetics play in someone's character and personality...my Dad and his siblings are SOOOO much alike, and they had never met before yesterday. It's incredible!
