One Thousand Hits!!
WOO HOO! I have finally reached 1000 hits on my blog! Thank you to all who read this, though it is not as interesting as most others. :) One thousand...:)
Anyway, things are going well here...very well...so fun! Michael and I went to Disneyland yesterday--his first Disney themepark experience, my hundredth (or close to it :))...but it was as if I were there for the first time as well, because his excitement and enthusiasm was contagious. It was a warm day yesterday (90s) but we managed to stay cool by taking advantage of the air-conditioned rides and the misters around the parks.
We are both exhausted, but we still have 2 days of fun activities! Today we are not leaving APU's campus (well, Michael and Scott are off campus having lunch and hanging out, but I am not...I am working right now :)). We are going to barbeque tonight--provided that the BBQ sauce that Michael's parents so sweetly sent to us from Chicago arrives--and we are going to chapel tonight. Will probably teach him to play guitar tonight.
Tomorrow we will head to Long Beach after a few classes, where we will shop and eat, and then we will go aboard the Queen Mary for live jazz and dancing. :) We are dressing up for that! :)
But yeah...this week has been amazing, and I really wish that he didn't have to go back to Chicago...but, c'est la vie (or however you spell it)...he'll be back soon enough--he is in love with Southern California. Crazy kid.
